The Slap. Christos Tsiolkas by Christos Tsiolkas
My rating: 5 of 5 stars
I really enjoyed this book. It felt like the author was showing the warts and all version of Melbourne suburbia. There was infidelity, religion, ethnicity, lies, honesty, friendship and the importance of family. I also liked the way that the book's long chapters focused on one character at a time. People are essentially flawed. None of us are perfect, nor should we try to be.
